Thank You Jesus Foundation
Our Calling Today
We fulfill our mission by providing financial support to members in need. Through partnerships with local churches, we aim to ensure no one faces hardship alone.

A Mission Built on Stewardship, Not Fundraising
We are a self-funded Christian foundation built on faith and obedience. We do not accept public donations. Everything we give comes from the resources God has entrusted to us.
Our mission is simple:
To be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ by strengthening the local church and removing financial barriers to care.
Thank You, Jesus
Our Mission
Serving the Body of Christ Through Faith-Based Financial Assistance
At the Thank You Jesus Foundation, we believe the Church is called to care for its own—just as Christ cares for us.
We partner directly with local churches to help meet the financial needs of their members. Through church-based financial assistance, we support individuals and families facing hardship by helping with rent, medical bills, utilities, and essential living expenses.
Meet The Founders
James Amira -Founder
James Michel Amira (Jimmy)I was born to a Catholic mother and a Jewish father, and while God’s presence was always around me growing up—especially through my grandparents’ devotion to the Catholic Church—faith wasn’t a central focus in my early life. From a young age, I was often the black sheep, walking a troubled path. I struggled with sin and found myself in difficult situations time and again. But even in those darkest moments, God was never far from my mind. His presence lingered in my thoughts, even when my actions didn’t reflect Him.
My life began to shift when I was 42 years old. A dear friend, Tamayo Rivera, invited me to VU Church, a Christian church, and something awakened in me. I began to feel God’s calling more clearly than ever before. That experience marked the true beginning of my walk with Christ—a journey that has now shaped the last eight years of my life.
I won’t claim perfection. I am a sinner, and I still wrestle with sin. But what defines me is not the struggle—it’s the longing for a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the most important part of my life. My heart’s desire is to love Him through obedience, to grow as His servant, and to walk faithfully in His presence every day.
God has blessed me beyond anything I could have ever imagined—far beyond what I deserve. As I reflect on those blessings, especially in my business and personal life, I recognize the need to give back. That desire led me to create this foundation—my way of tithing, of honoring God with the resources He has entrusted to me. It is a step of faith, a gesture of gratitude, and a commitment to serve.
Through this foundation and in every part of my life, my mission is simple: to be the best follower of Jesus Christ I can be, and to show my love for Him through obedience, generosity, and unwavering devotion.
Tamayo Rivera - Co-Founder
I’m a follower of Jesus Christ, saved by grace and transformed by His love. After years of walking in darkness, the Lord found me in the year 2000—and my life has never been the same. What once was broken, God restored. What once was lost, He redeemed.
Now, I live to glorify Him, serve others, and walk in the truth of His Word. My heart is to share the hope I’ve found in Christ and to encourage others to trust in His power to make all things new.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
